Matching the Right Breaker to Your Application

Before recommending a hydraulic breaker, DAEKKO analyzes equipment information, working conditions and application requirements to provide the right solution.

We do not simply reply with a model number. Our team reviews excavator weight, material type, operation frequency and site conditions to match a breaker that delivers reliable performance on your specific job site.

Five dimensions are reviewed together — the output is a matched DAEKKO hydraulic breaker solution, not a catalogue number.

Hydraulic Breaker Installation & Removal Guidance

Hydraulic breakers are often changed with other excavator attachments on site. The following general guidance highlights key preparation, removal and storage considerations. Always follow the instructions for the specific breaker and excavator model.

Preparation

01 Prepare a Safe Work Area Park the carrier on firm, level ground, lower and support the breaker securely, and keep the connection area clean.
02 Shut Down and Relieve Pressure Shut down the carrier and relieve residual hydraulic pressure in accordance with the carrier manufacturer’s instructions.
03 Close the Shut-Off Valves Close the pressure and return-line shut-off valves, if fitted, before disconnecting any hydraulic hoses.

Removal

04Disconnect the Hydraulic HosesDisconnect the pressure and return hoses using the approved procedure. Collect any released hydraulic oil in a suitable container.
05Cap Hoses and ConnectionsImmediately fit clean caps or plugs to the disconnected hoses and carrier connections to prevent oil leakage and contamination.
06Detach and Support the BreakerSupport the breaker securely before releasing the coupler or removing the mounting pins. Place the detached breaker on suitable support blocks.

Storage & Reinstallation

07Prepare for StorageClean the breaker, cap exposed connections, lubricate the specified points and store it in a dry, protected area in the position required for the specific model.
08Inspect Before ReinstallationBefore reinstalling the breaker, inspect the tool, hoses, connections and mounting components. Complete the specified lubrication and service checks.
09Reinstall and CheckMount the breaker securely, reconnect the hydraulic lines using clean connections, and follow the breaker and carrier instructions for valve operation, pressure checks and startup inspection.
